Combine all ingredients (except the cocoa powder) in a mixing bowl. Beat with electric mixer until peaks are firm, but NOT dry. Fill pastry cups with this mixture and refrigerate until ready to serve. At the time you are ready to serve, dust the tops of the espresso cream cups with the cocoa powder.
Additionally, you could add a chocolate covered espresso bean to the top of each cup.
- Appetizer size pastry cups
- 1 Tbls instant espresso powder
- 1 Cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup mascarpone cheese
- salt (a pinch)
- 2 Tbls sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 2 Tbls coffee liqueur (Kahlua, DeKuyper, Baileys)
- FOR DUSTING BEFORE SERVING: 1/2 tsp cocoa powder (unsweetened)
